Just a word to nature, Mother Earth - the things that keep us going that are forever taken for granted. We are ever so connected with the world around us and I know that at times, especially in Dallas, we seem so apart from it. I often take for granted the air I breathe, the trees that help circulate the supply and the micro organisms that feed the trees. I am going to do one thing today to help make OUR world better... pick up someone's trash, reduce the amount of electricity I rely on, bike to work or eat less.. not sure yet but I will make an impact. Will you join me?
Enjoy!

Mindful eating...
“There are some people who eat an orange but don’t really eat it. They eat their sorrow, fear, anger, past, and future.” - Thich Nhat Hanh
“When you eat with awareness, you find that there is more space, more beauty. You begin to watch yourself, to see yourself, and you notice how clumsy you are or how accurate you are. … So when you make an effort to eat mindfully…, you find that life is worth much more than you had expected.” - Chogyam Trungpa
This was an excerpt from Zen Habits-
Awareness is key to changing anything...
Enjoy.
